Pastor Ben was preaching way too long,
Little Billy had begun to squirm.
He was doing his imitation
Of a giggly wiggly worm.

Billy’s mother tried to shush him up,
She shook little Billy by his arm.
She promised awful consequences
And threatened him with bodily harm.

When his sister whispered in his ear,
Little Billy suddenly was still.
Her mother asked what she told Billy
To stop him from acting such a pill.

“I told him if he kept on wiggling
He was gonna confuse Pastor Ben,
And that if he made him lose his place
He’d have to start all over again.”
