The Visit

Our loving grandson came to see us,
He brought a girl that we should meet.
That he would visit us from college
Itself was really quite a treat.

He introduced us to his girlfriend
A perfect match for him we knew.
The bags they carried were not presents
She had brought her laundry too.

We all remember the weekend laundry runs that our kids made while they were in college. Now, many of us are experiencing second-generation laundry runs from our grandkids. The grandson, in The Visit, loved his grandparents so much that he brought his girlfriend along to meet them; of course she brought her laundry too. We live thirty-four miles from a major university, Texas A&M. With eleven grandkids, and counting, what are the chances that we will experience laundry runs in the future?
