For a pet I had a snowman,
I thought that he was very nice.
But my friends all laughed and teased me,
They said, “He’s only made of ice.”

He had two lumps of coal for eyes
And a carrot for a nose.
His belly was a little big
Because he couldn’t see his toes.

I put him in my sister’s bed
So he could take a noon time nap.
He looked so funny lying there,
He had on Daddy’s baseball cap.

When Sis came home she found the cap,
The coal and carrot from his head.
I think what made my sister mad
Is that my pet had wet her bed!
