Lofty Heights

Oh it’s so very high,
So high up in the air.
That I’ll need a ladder
To get myself up there.

I won’t fall down like Jack
Who fell and broke his crown.
‘Cause while I’m climbing up,
I won’t be looking down.

Once I’ve started up there,
I won’t be coming back.
I better ask my mom
If she’ll fix me a snack.

Dad said when I’m on top,
Way up there in the sky,
That monsters can’t scare me
‘Cause they can’t climb that high.

All day I’ve had the giggles.
And they can’t make me stop,
‘Cause Daddy bought us bunk beds
And I get to sleep on top!
