Consider the hippopotamus…
Who spends all day in the swimming pool.
Hippos will eat only vegetables,
Which Mom thinks is a very good rule.

If Hippos eats only vegetables,
And other healthy foods like that,
Doesn’t it make you wonder why
Hippo is the synonym for fat?

When one reaches her maturity,
And her waist begins to blossom,
Have you ever heard one comment,
“She’s gotten big as an opossum?”

Boy Scouts could probably make tents
From just one pair of Hippo’s pants;
And wouldn’t it be dangerous
For a hippopotamus to dance?

If all but I were hippo size,
I am sure that some fat ninny
Would point at me and make comments,
About me being awfully skinny.
