Millions of babies
Are born every day,
But one in a million
Was little TJ.
We’d agreed in advance,
He’d have Grandma’s nose,
As we took turns counting
His fingers and toes.
We assigned all his parts
To relatives in kind,
Except for one part
His little behind.
And that is the part
We’ll pat and we’ll powder.
As little TJ
Grows bigger and louder.
To be any cuter
Would violate some law;
If you don’t believe it,
Just ask his Grandma!
TJ’s proud grandmother, Dr. Peggy Conner, asked me to write a poem about her new grandbaby, her first. Her only imput was that he is the cutest, smartest baby in the world.
