I got bit on the leg
By a no-see-em bug,
While I was out digging
In a place where I dug.

When I went to show Mom
My no-see-em bug bite,
She kissed it and said,
“It’ll soon be alright.”

Although they are tiny
And keep out of sight,
Those no-see-em bugs
Sure know how to bite!

You can’t see no-see-ems
There’s not much you can do.
If you itch but see nothing,
Then you have them too!
