A whole lot of things have changed
From a hundred years ago.
Lots of things have gotten fast.
Other things have gotten slow.

But there are things that never change.
And there are problems we can’t solve.
Little things we can’t get right.
New ways never do evolve.

If we could leave tomorrow
For a trip out to the stars,
I bet when we got there, we’d find
That our luggage all went to Mars.
